Step #1: Find a job posting online

(I swear, this is actual advice given)

Step #3: Say this: “Gosh Mr Prospect, PROSPECT, your company actually sounds like a great place to work. I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask, but do you use recruiters there?”

If this was cringy to even read, can you imagine how bad this bait and switch tactic looks to the leaders you want to build a relationship with?
