Step #1: Find a job posting online

Step #3: Say this: “Gosh Mr Prospect, your company actually sounds like a great place to work. I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask, but do you use recruiters there?”

If this was cringy to even read, can you imagine how bad this bait and switch tactic looks to the leaders you want to build a relationship with?

This, my friends, is one of the many reasons why our industry has a bad name, BECAUSE of these bait and switch tactics commonly taught. At the end of the day, if you’re so desperate to find a reason to call a decision-maker, you have to massively rethink the value that you’re providing on these calls to begin with.
